Very berry warm breakfast bowl

A perfect bowl that adds warmth to cold winter mornings and satisfies your sweet tooth without the guilt. The recipe serves 3 people.

1 cup rolled oats

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon nutmeg

2 cups almond milk or any non-dairy milk of your choice.

1 banana sliced

3 dates finely chopped

1/4 cup Raisins.

1/4 cup pecans or walnuts or almonds finely chopped.

Honey or maple syrup as per your choice (optional)

Fresh blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, or any berries of your choice. Washed. Just make sure that the berries are not sour. If you choose to use strawberries, slice them before using them.

In a pot heat the Almond milk, add oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, dates, raisins, and chopped nuts. Cook on medium flame till oats are cooked well.

Turn off the heat.

In the serving bowls, add cooked oats and sliced banana. Top with berries. Drizzle honey or maple syrup.
