Mango Chia pudding
Start your day right with this nutrient-rich breakfast.
Ripe mangos are rich in beta-carotene, a pigment responsible for the yellow-orange color of the fruit. Beta-carotene is an antioxidant, just one of many found in mangos. The antioxidants in mangos have been shown to fight free radicals, which can cause damage to your cells and potentially lead to cancer.
Chia seeds are the powerhouse of nutrients. Just 1 ounce of Chia seeds contains 11 grams of fiber, 4 grams of protein, and 5 grams of heart-healthy omega 3s. They also contain calcium, Potassium, Manganese, Magnesium, Phosphorus, and B vitamins.
