Cumin, Coriander, Fennel Tea (CCF Tea)
This is a perfect recipe to cool down aggravated pitta during hot summer days. Cumin, Coriander, and fennel are very cooling and refreshing. This refreshing tea is healing for the digestive system as it reduces heartburn, and acid reflux.
Ingredients ( 2 servings)
1/2 teaspoon whole cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon whole coriander seeds
1/2 teaspoon whole fennel seeds
2 cups water
1 teaspoon honey
Instructions
Bring the water to a boil and add the cumin, coriander, and fennel seeds. Boil for 5 minutes.
Let steep for 5-10 minutes or until the tea cools to your desired drinking temperature.
Strain the tea in a cup or flask to remove the spices, add honey and serve.
