Guacamole
Avocados are a source of vitamins C, E, K, and B6, as well as riboflavin, niacin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, and potassium. They also provide lutein, beta carotene, and omega-3 fatty acids. Avocados contain high levels of healthy, beneficial fats, which can help a person feel fuller between meals.
Ingredients
2 avocados
1 large tomato, diced
½ red onion, diced
½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
Juice from half a lime
Salt to taste
2 Jalapeno finely chopped
Directions
Put peeled, pitted avocado in a medium bowl and mash. Add the tomato, onion, cilantro, jalapeno, and lime juice and combine well. Add salt to taste. Put into a serving bowl and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve with Bodykey whole grain tortilla chips for a wholesome snack with a good kind of fat.
