Beet and berries smoothie

Beets are packed with nutrients, checking off the box of almost every vitamin or mineral your body needs while being low in calories and fat. This smoothie is rich in natural sugar from beets so you do not need to add any added sugar.

Beets contain phytonutrients that support your heart health and vision health. They protect your body against cell-damaging free radicals. Most people do not enjoy beets because of their earthy flavor but when we mix them with other fruits, it will dilute their earthy flavor.

This smoothie uses BodyKey by Nutriliteā„¢ Strawberry Meal Replacement Shake Mix, making it a great option for a meal or hearty snack.

Mixed berries and Beet Smoothie

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 10 fl oz cold water

  • ½ cup (57g) BodyKey by Nutrilite Strawberry Meal Replacement Shake

  • One small or medium red beet (washed, peeled, finely diced) You can use cooked or raw as per your choice.

  • Half banana

  • 1 cup frozen or fresh mixed berries.

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 inch of peeled ginger

Preparation:

Add all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Enjoy!
