Cold Coffee Smoothie Recipe

It’s coffee, it’s a smoothie. It’s a coffee smoothie.

It’s creamy, it’s smooth, it’s healthy, it’s rich in taste and plant protein.

I am a big fan of cold coffee but not a big fan of all the sugar and empty calories it has. Never want to add artificial sweeteners into my coffee because of the health hazards they pose on our body so after a couple of trials and errors I perfected this recipe of a smoothie which I would love to share with you all.

Let’s dive right into it!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of organic almond milk

  • 1 cup of ice

  • 3 tablespoons of instant coffee (I have used Nescafe)

  • 1 tetra pack of all plant organic vanilla protein shake or 1 scoop of all plant organic vanilla protein powder (the key here is to take a shake of great quality and low in sugar)

  • 1 tablespoon of honey (if needed, taste the smoothie before you add honey and also if you add honey make sure to blend properly)

  • 1 pinch of cinnamon powder.

Steps:

  1. Blend all the ingredients together in a blender.

  2. Enjoy!

This recipe makes 3 servings. It’s rich in protein due to protein powder. No dairy. For a change you can enjoy the refreshing cold coffee on a hot summer day without feeling guilty.
